guess they use the same logic to call Jesus the Abaddon, and in Greek he is Apollyon, the angel of the abyss - as on page 11 of Aid to Bible Understanding (1971) - the big blue other bible - oH wait a minute that was written by an Ex witness - can anyone confirm the page Jesus is named the Abaddon in the Insight book? nothing they ever say or do surprises me anymore.

the speaker asked a rhetorical question, asking if jehovah would be evil for killing 6 billion people during armageddon?
(yes, he actually said, killing 6 billion people) he then followed it up by saying 'yes!

after the customary donut dunking and pep talk, they set out in service.
as they approached the first door, the older women tripped and promptly landed ass first on the side walk.

If your presentation doesn't attract that particular householder at that moment, and they turn you away - yikes! but, to begin a little research on the internet on ebla could well be a surprise to any current jw as it could lead to all kinds of fascinating finds as to the origins of the name yhwh when a search is done, and even lead some to the discovery of the god el, the original lead or head god of the sumerians.
the jews had baal as their god of fertility and also yhwh as their storm/desert/ mountain/ supreme god (depending on which article you are reading but not surprising considering how many thousands of years back we need to go for this).. then, there arises the information on the cult of yhwh and even more fascinating information that the averge jw will never have come across.

This is very timely. The lady at the door last night with her finger-pointing at false religion tract - was absolutely positive there would never be a problem like this in the Truth™. She promised a RV, so I will have this newspaper handy. This is happening very close. I'll also remind her that since she was raised a catholic and is now an apostate from that religion - she must be disgruntled and lying about her former beliefs and I should stay away from her. thank you for posting this. wp

Going to Church Again This Morning
by Undecided inthe pastor who i knew a few years ago is comming from wva to preach today and i though it would be nice to talk to him again.
the religion doesn't do anything for me but i sometimes like meeting some of the people there.. i hate wearing a tie though, it reminds me so much of all those years years at the kh.
at least i won't have to give a talk and conduct the wt study.. ken p..
